description

“The Greenest Building,” a new hour-long documentary by producer Jane Turville, presents a compelling overview of the important role building reuse plays in creating sustainable communities. Narrated by David Ogden Stiers, “The Greenest Building” explores the myth that a “green building” is a new building and demonstrates how renovation and adaptive use of existing structures fully achieves the sustainability movement’s “triple bottom line” – economic, social, and ecological balance.

The screening will be preceded by a wine reception at Inglesby, Falligant, Horne, Courington & Chisholm, 17 West McDonough Street, at 6:30p.m. and the film will start at 7:30p.m at Savannah Theatre. The screening is free and open to the public. Tickets to the pre-screening reception can be purchased for $10 by visiting our website's store (http://www.myhsf.org/).
